That author guy you may have seen hanging around Texas Star has a new book out. This is what he says about it:

I’ve pulled together a few pieces that I’ve written over the years that I hope might offer a little encouragement and optimism in these strident days and published them in a small book called A Few Encouraging Words.

It’s only 60 pages or so, a very easy read, with the thought that maybe one or more of the 26 gentle exhortations will soothe your spirit, enlighten your journey, or provide a respite of peace and grace.

It might be a little inspirational book to pass along to a young person (with perhaps a little cash or check enclosed!) or as a gift to a friend or relative.

The overriding theme is: We have the power to make our corner of the world a better place.
