The new cookbook — which replaces their popular Texas Cowboy Cooking, published in 2000 and now out of print – includes about 100 recipes, 25 sidebar stories, and dozens of exquisite color photographs. The recipes and stories are collected in seven sections: The Cocktail Hour; Salads; Beef; Pork, Bison, Lamb, Chicken, Seafood; Side Dishes; Biscuits and Bread; and, of course, Desserts.
