Elmer Kelton fans are in for a real treat. Wild West, a new collection of eleven of Elmer’s earliest short stories from the 1950s, has been published by Forge Books. The stories, which gave the San Angelo author his start as a fiction writer, originally appeared in some of the western “pulp fiction” magazines like Ranch Romances, Six-Gun Western, and Triple Western. The stories – ranging from eleven pages to more than fifty -- have never been collected in one volume. Elmer, who was voted by his peers as the best Western writer of all time, died in 2009.
Hardback book, 6x9, 366 pages.
