Teh story concludes with the aftermath, depicting Jim’s struggle to adjust and regain his sanity.

Quinnett was raised in Southern California, and drafted in 1966. He was awarded the Air Medal and Combat Infantry Badge. He is retired and lives in Abilene, Texas.
